I’m Rhodora Cecilia B. Gacutan, known to my students as Teacher Odjie — an experienced and dedicated English teacher since 2011. I’ve had the joy of guiding students from different backgrounds, helping them grow in confidence and communication. I previously taught
Japanese learners at Unhoop Philippines and currently teaching Korean students of all ages at ITalk, where I focus on honing their speaking and writing skills through engaging, meaningful lessons. Beyond teaching, I bring a nurturing 'mommy teacher' approach to my classes — patient, encouraging, and full of care. I believe that every student learns best when they feel comfortable, supported, and appreciated. My years of experience as both a teacher and a mother have shaped my teaching style to be warm, understanding, and flexible to each student’s unique needs. As a teacher, I believe every child learns best when they feel supported, valued, and inspired. I design my classes to be warm, interactive, and tailored to each student’s pace and personality. My goal is to help learners gain confidence in using English naturally while enjoying every moment of learning. Seeing my students smile and grow brings me so much happiness. Teaching English truly fills my heart with purpose.
